Liberty Lake, Washington, May 25, 2017 /PRNewswire/ - Telect solves the challenge of intra-frame splicing in high-density networks.

Telect is a fiber optic connection company based in Washington State. It recently released the LTX series with a variety of configurations, including patch cords and fusion splices.

Network engineers have encountered intra-frame splicing problems in high-density environments before, because splicing panels take up too much space and limit the number of possible terminations.

Telect designed the LTX series to maximize port density in a small footprint, providing 72 terminations in 1RU, 144 terminations in 2RU, and market-leading 288 in 4RU Termination.

"The LTX series eliminates the need for connector libraries or racks, minimizing the amount of equipment required to connect external equipment cables to the data center or central office," said Aaron Monheim, Telec product manager for its fiber optic product portfolio.

Each panel is also equipped with Telec’s famous and excellent cable management features:

The LTX series can be installed in any standard equipment rack with an easy-to-install pre-termination solution, allowing rapid deployment in network expansion and eliminating the time and cost dedicated to on-site fiber termination.

The panel also provides patch or with splitter module and MPO options.
