Clearfield's home deployment kit is designed to simplify and simplify FTTH deployment, including everything you need to connect your home to fiber optics-everything in one box. The door-to-door service is minimized, the boarding speed is fast, and each household can save up to 30 minutes of installation time.

The home deployment kit completes the optical fiber connection from the outside of the home to the customer equipment inside the home. As home styles vary greatly, different types of fasteners are needed to connect the fibers. Clearfield packs all the necessary fasteners in a convenient kit.

For consumers who are willing to do it themselves, the home deployment kit enables non-contact installation, keeping residents and fiber optic technicians a safe distance.

The home deployment kit includes four choices of external factory test access points. In addition, each home deployment kit includes a consumer-friendly CraftSmart fiber optic socket for internal wiring, fiber patch cords, and FieldShield introduction fiber as needed.

During the planning process, what is the most important quality you look for in an uninterruptible power supply (UPS) before deploying to your network?

If you ask this question to the factory manager or field technician, the ease of installation and product quality are usually at the top of their list. Why? They are very busy. The job must be completed quickly and proceed to the next job without returning for any follow-up repairs.

Reducing the time spent by technicians on site and reducing the number of on-site services in the future is a measurable goal of any telecom operator. Implementing high-quality, longer-life UPS equipment that is easy to install and improves network resilience is one of the easiest ways to achieve this goal.

In the design and construction phase, network designers should consider the overall long-term cost of the system after deployment. When reviewing costs, it is easy to eliminate UPS equipment from the network design or choose cheaper equipment, but this inevitably leads to increased on-site service and on-site time-making the "cheap" solution become "cost to get rich" in the long run Look at the solution.

In previous years, 30 minutes of service interruption may be acceptable. But in today’s world, compromising the equipment that powers your network can affect your customers’ livelihoods. Therefore, it is essential to use reliable and easy-to-install backup power equipment for homes or businesses.

For solutions that meet your UPS needs and inputs during the design phase, please visit www.espicorp.com. You will find many solutions and alternatives, as well as contact information for sales and production engineers.

Viper and Raptor reduce the cost of fiber optic systems

Hexatronic offers a full range of blown fiber optic micro cables with the highest level of performance and reliability. Compared with traditional optical cables, the micro-cable system provides overall lower labor costs with the fastest blowing speed, and reduces materials and installation time. Hexatronic's Viper microcable and Raptor nanocable series provide the smallest size and the longest blowing distance.

Viper micro-cables are based on a slim loose tube design, each with up to 12 polyimide tubes, carrying up to 432 optical fibers in total. These rugged cables are ideal for long-distance air-blowing installations in micro-pipes with inner diameters ranging from 5.5 to 16 mm. Viper cables have excellent bending properties, impact resistance and work in an extremely wide temperature range (-45 degrees Celsius to 70 degrees Celsius). Compared with other cables installed in larger pipes, the Viper series also reduces handling and transportation costs.

The slender nanocables in Hexatronic's new Raptor series can be installed in micro ducts with an inner diameter of 3.5 to 12 mm and a fiber count of 24. Nanocable minimizes the initial investment while providing a future-oriented network that is easy to expand, upgrade and maintain. Their main application is optical fiber access networks, such as FTTH and FTTA. The cable uses integrated reinforcements to increase stability and robustness, and is very suitable for blowing distances of 1 km or more. For short distances, it can be easily pushed by hand.

Hexatronic manufactures complete end-to-end passive systems, including microcatheter and connection solutions and training. Coupled with a 20-year system warranty, this makes Hexatronic an ideal partner to meet your fiber optic infrastructure needs.

Increase bandwidth behind the wall

Launched InvisiLight EZ-Hide behind the wall module, which can realize almost invisible fiber installation in homes and multiple residential units, or for passive fiber LAN applications. By hiding the spool behind the wall and using InvisiLight 600 micron fiber, the InvisiLight EZ-Hide behind the wall module can further reduce the footprint of the InvisiLight ILU installation by up to 50%. The original InvisiLight ILU solution provided an innovative and simple process to reach the indoor optical network terminal (ONT) by adhering a 0.9 mm diameter optical fiber to the ceiling and wall or the gap between the mold and the wall. InvisiLight EZ-Hide behind the wall module uses a smaller 0.6 mm optical fiber, the installation process and tools are the same as the original module. The compact EZ-Hide spool can distribute up to 40 meters of fiber because it can be moved along the deployment path to the ONT location, but it can still be installed in a common rear-wall junction box.

Provide gigabit services to residents in brownfield buildings at a cost of 20% within a few hours.

High-speed bandwidth is everyone's basic needs, especially remote office, remote learning and entertainment needs. High-speed internet increased property value by 3% and rent increased by 8%. Operators can provide bandwidth to these buildings, but without expensive capital expenditures and destructive construction to install indoor fiber, they cannot be allocated to the occupants. DOCSIS cannot provide enough bandwidth.

Positron's G.hn Access Multiplexer (GAM) provides optical fiber or fixed wireless gigabit services for 90% of residential buildings that do not use optical fiber. G.hn provides gigabit service to each door through existing MDU and MTU indoor wiring (up to 800 feet on existing telephone pairs or 2,800 feet on RG6 coaxial cables and splitters). GAM is a carrier-grade, MEF CE 2.0 compliant, fully functional, and verified product, which has been used in many carriers. It provides real-time gigabit speed and has dynamic bandwidth allocation. It is also used for hosting business services and can effectively serve mixed-use buildings. GAM is increasingly helping counties and owners of subsidized and assisted living units to bridge the digital divide in a cost-effective manner.

For outdoor deployment, it is used together with reverse power supply (eliminating the need for local power) to provide services to home clusters, and for rural digital opportunity fund deployments that use existing outdoor wiring from the roadside to the home.

GAM is scalable and cost-effective, even with the lowest initial subscriber adoption rate. Its deployment and operation are simpler than G.fast, GPON or DOCSIS. It can be installed and activated within a few hours, making it an ideal choice for telecommunications companies, cable companies, ISPs, municipalities and homeowners.

Developed, manufactured and supported in North America.
